Wine bag – what size, weight, and handle?

What size should a wine bag be?
The most popular and universal format is 11.5 × 11.5 × 40 cm. This size perfectly fits a standard 0.75 l bottle and at the same time looks slim and elegant. Our offer also includes the following variants:
- 18 × 8 × 34 cm – compact bags, often chosen for retail sale,
- 11.5 × 11.5 × 40 cm – decorative, laminated bags, often chosen as exclusive packaging.
Paper weight – strength and aesthetics
At AWIH we use white or brown kraft paper and decorative papers. The choice of grammage depends on the purpose:
- 90–120 g/m² – light kraft bags, ecological and economical,
- 170 g/m² – premium standard, ensuring durability and elegant appearance.
Each bag can be additionally refined – e.g. with embossing, hot-stamping or advertising print.
Handle – comfort and style
